Dztasheet parts would improve quality? May 11, at 7: I really would suggest leaving the transistors alone, especially since you dont have any idea what they do in this circuit.
I will post some pictures of the board. May 29, at 5: I would guess at least some of them are for output muting. Too expensive mod compared to the DAC performance, unless there are some great ddatasheet cheap good analog stages.
What I did was to change out the opamp and replaced it with an OPA May 29, at 8: No, create an account now. May 30, at 6: I performed a similar mod on a Sony DVD player. Post 14 of After bypassing the electrolytics in the power supply and adding datasheef to the chassis I tackled the analog stage. I posted a thread on this a little while back which included a board layout picture.
Headphone Reviews and Discussion – Head-Fi. Also, the Pass D1 stage is another one to look at. Is there somewhere where we can buy Datasheeg of discrete analog stages? It would be pretty simple to increase bias some so as to drop the input impedance further. Need help for transistors upgrade.
Post 12 of You must log in or sign up to reply here. Hope will raise sound quality. Post 11 of Thanks for the tips. I would definitely recommend getting a schematic if possible before just shotgunning parts out.

The original parts are: Can somebody give me a hand? What DAC is in here? Thanks for the help. May 11, at 9: May 29, datasehet 3: I class-a biased it with two jfets.
Post 2 of For my DVD player, it wasn’t worth the money to rebuild the entire 2sd11944 output stage. The PCB set is 18 Euro, and he can supply parts as well.
Datasheeets & Application Notes
To your original question: I would like to try better transistors. Some of the variations get quite complex; the one I am working on for my DAC projects currently uses something like 62 parts per single ended channel, so would be in the range of parts for differential stereo.
It would be much more worthwhile to replace the whole output stage, preferably with a discrete solution. I seem to remember Garbz posted pictures of his Pass D1 variant on here; I forget if he had board images though.
