Overall, Animate Me was a love story that has a bit of everything, steamy romance, love, laughter, drama.
I didn’t want the story to end, I wanted it to go on and on. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. View all 5 comments. The world of animation is something that is always been an intrigue to many.
It’s a fun read, and the characters are nicely fleshed out, pun intended. Hey, I am not even swooned by the romance in this novel. The rooms in her home are all painted different colors and her books are equally varied, infusing humor, drama, and passion into the romantic lives of strong heroines and heroes and their worthy and determined counterparts.
One day they get to meet and that’s the push he needed to start bringing to her office her favorite coffee, with a little surprise on a daily basis.
Thank you Ruth Clampett for writing this beautiful love story and for sharing so much of your own family with us. The story line in itself is simplistic. Brook is in a relationship If you are looking for a good adult love story I definitely recommend this one! I would give it 5 stars, but there are some copy editing errors that occasionally distracted me from my reading. I just could not wait to coffee time each day in the story to see what Nathan drew.
This is also the author’s reality, so the statement, “write what you know”, completely rings true. I still wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone who’d like a lovely, humorous and rewarding love story.
This sounds like a nice summer read. A former Twilight FF with the same name, before it got published.

The interweaving of cartoon characters and references of classic animations was an amazing way of telling the story. When anmiate characters are engaging and the story just envelops you. Thanks for your thoughts and a chance to win!
Animate Me is not one of them. I pronounce it the same, so maybe that’s just me. While at first I didn’t warm up to Nathan, with his quiet disposition and lack of alpha male skills, I came to admire him and love him anyways. Will Brooke stand by Arnaulds side or will she give her heart to Nathan? In my opinion, there’s also a good deal of “cheesiness”, like when you see Arnauld literally portrayed as an je monkey man, and the mushy but adorable proclamations and acts of love.
But last night I got a phone call from my little girl, asking me to come to her fourth birthday party. B-Girl is the physical manifestation of my love and admiration for her.

I can see his home, his studio, his office, those fantastic coffee cups that he draws on daily for Brooke in his woo-ing, the comic shop he frequents, just so visual is the writing.
