Posted on Jan 18, I’ve been awarded 2 and they were for tours of 9 mos and 4 mos in country. We will never publish or sell your email address, nor will we ever send you information you have not requested.
Thank you for your response! You unit S-1 should be able to print you a copy of your deployment, or overseas, validation time. The requirement for both Iraq and Afghanistan is 9 months consecutive or 11 months non-consecutive.
Posted 2 y ago. Unfortunately, even though the 614-0 was scheduled to be 9 months, if you only have 7 months completed then you are not eligible for an OSR for that period of service.

AR 614-30 Overseas Service
No prescribed length, therefore it falls under rule 8. It was never brought up during all the recent boards and inspections, I attended, leading up to SAMC. WO1 Join to see there is no prescribed tour length for Afghanistan, hence rule 2 cannot be applied.
