Oct 30, meredith rated it it was ok. And the slight twist in the story is surprising. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. A somewhat, ok reallyharsh review, which is probably due, at least in part, bewitchihg the fact that it’s late and I’m tired, but hey, and least it’ll provide a counterpoint to all the raving reviews that are out there- even if most of it is just for argument’s sake.
I was a little less satisfied with the central romance, because something about it felt a little inconsistent. Why wouldn’t she like me?

Mar 09, Rhaine rated it it was ok Shelves: I had moments of sympathy for Pen, but for the most part, I went through the story as a completely detached observer. As long as you go in understanding that this is your basic Magical-governess-gets-kidnapped-so-teens-must-save-her-and-uncover-a-greater-plot-while-still-making-it-to-their-ton-debut storyline, then you shouldn’t be too disappointed at all.
But will Pen ever be able to forgive Niall for taking advantage of her in that way? And who on earth would fall for the whole “In order to save you, I must deflower you before marrying you, although I love you so much and I fully intend to marry you.
Betraying Season (Leland Sisters, #2) by Marissa Doyle
I didn’t enjoy Betraying Season as much as Bewitching SeasonI think because the plot was more predictable. Refresh and try again. Harry Potter Regency style, this is not.
That was just sad.
They only clue they have to her whereabouts is a note apologizing for her absence. The conflict wasn’t too unique – someone gets kidnapped, girls try to save kidnapee and uncover larger more serious situation.
Which is odd, since I normally like the first book in a doy,e more. While they are usually very close, Persephone and Penelope start to have secrets from each other. Another really special thing about this book is that the story sticks. Fun enough marlssa read but it doesn’t hold up to close scrutiny. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. I was really impressed with Ms. The main problem that us readers face is the suspension of disbelief.
That just irritated the crap out of me. At least, most of them didn’t.
See, let me tell you what this book should have been. Amidst all this, we have the angst, and if you want angst, you gotta have boys. Keating and Corkwobble tells Pen that Mrs. And for those who loved the first book, I’d suggest going back marssa rereading it instead of reading its sequel.
