Part of preparing deatthwatch a Mission is choosing a leader that will provide the most useful set of abilities for the Kill-team and their current objectives. Not just contradictory to what we’ve previously been told, but contradicted by the same rules guru from the past.

Posted January 5, This is probably an oversight, as all but the standard attack are full round actions. Entering Squad Mode is an action that effects the group, not just an individual.

I wouldn’t say its too terrible, it just means that you dont want to bring a gun into a swordfight. I dislike the desthwatch given the experiences I’ve had and am having with the game I’m in. I think the change is in attempt to balance certain aspects of play.

And you and your playtest group should be awarded imperial laurels for this heroic errata of endurance in the face of dire circumstances too.
