There she not only learns more about the inner-workings of their supposedly sane vampire culture, but also more about her mysterious past and her Cherokee heritage. Is this the last book? I actually liked the vampire elements in this book.

Skinwalker was such a terrific read that I immediately launched into reading hujter next two books out so far in this series. I feel sorry for Jane just as I feel anger towards the ones who bring up the old memories. Jane Yellowrock is the last of her hhnter skinwalker of Cherokee descent who can turn into any creature she desires and hunts vampires for a living. IMHO, the best part of the book is when she is in the process of shifting or has already changed forms.

I like steamy sex scenes but also like a good story. When her house is magically attacked, the wild chase to find her assailants unearths a mystery that has literally been buried deep. Well, due to some spoilery reasons, she shares her body and soul with a mountain lion she refers to as Beast. There are no distinct villains because the lead character hates vampires but has to work for them. Well and me developing a girl crush and wanting to hump her leg.
