This is a beautiful story of a stranger who the modest townspeople gave a life and family for his majestic size, and handsome features, who was so large and attractive that everyone felt a connection with him, though they had never met him, who even in the cold wake of death’s grip you could feel his warmth, his strength, his pride, and all you people can do is talk about how this saved your ass in Spanish.
I feel the man that was washed ashore grew because his soul wasn’t in peace and in the book it says he looked sad.

Startling tale, beautifully written, full of symbolism, imagery and allegory. How do we, both individually and as a culture, project our dreams and aspirations onto other people?
They took the mud off with grass swabs, they removed the underwater stones entangled in his hair, and they scraped the crust off with tools used for scaling fish. Underneath The Handsomest Drowned Man in the Worldthere’s this seemingly out of place words written: The way the author writes was absolutely riveting.
The same goes for the hermoso. When will you make up your minds?? I knew what was going on, unlike in the other short story wherein I wasn’t really certain of what I had read, or whether I read it correctly. Anonymous Tuesday, 01 October, Is it about how obsessed with the unknown we can become?
I also really liked that the story itself seems to be mostly removed from our society, as the time and exact location it takes place in are not described.
