This novella is billed as Highlander 8, but it also has hints of the Fever series. Once again I find myself dreamng a desperate wait for Moning to publish her books.

It was the reason I started reading your books. Although they remain in this time, a thought occurred to me earlier of a mention of a romance novelist who wanted to take pictures of I won’t give away too much, because I love a good element Who doesn’t love Karen Marie Moning’s work? She intended to go to law school but after an internship with a firm of Criminal Attorneys, decided against it. Jane will not lose her warrior! One day out of the blue, she receives an ancient tapestry picturing her dream lover, a Highland Warrior.

Aug 04, Erica Ravenclaw rated it liked it. Plus I was really pissed when the female lead said things like she was “born in the wrong century”. Caught in a deadly game between the light and dark courts of the Fae, Jane must find a way through the ice to the heart nito her Highander.

However, this book totally sucks on the realism department. A very short novella not worth the time in my opinion except for a couple lines about the Unseelie Dark King. But for a novella, it was a good read. Maren it from the library, look for the older anthology Tapestry and read the short story there.

I won’t give away too much, because I love a good element of surprise. Dark Highlander is my favorite in the highlander series, so for me reading the alternate version was not enjoyable at all. However, I did like the idea that the Unseelie king had kept Aedan in Faery for years and tortured him I like angst and then deposited him back in Scotland for a month with no explanation.

Unlike past cons, there is no primary hotel, fans are free to stay wherever they wish.

When Jane awakens, as naked as the day she was born, she immediately recognizes Aedan, who, according to his agreement with the evil king, gets to spend a month visiting his old stomping grounds, the family castle, before dreajing to Unseelie. As for myself, I prefer my Highlanders Dark. She divides her time between Ohio and Florida and is working on two future projects for Random House Publishing.
