This is the best pregnancy book I have read! Im now reading it for a second time, after we had another sucessfull ivf attempt.

I recommend this book to everyone I know who gets pregnant. No bossy-boots rules, just lots of cartoons and the soundest, sanest, wittiest advice you’ll ever get. Great step by step upp to hel you through pregnancy. I was given this book when I was over 30 weeks pregnant and therefore I skimmed everything up to a 30 week chapter before reading the remainder of the book. Coo,e managed to enjoy every single chapter and it wasn’t boring like most other pregnancy novels are.

Pleasantly surprised by the book. Best of all it’s realistic and non-judgmental.

One day when I need it for myself, I will definitely grab it and tell everyone else I know to get one too. Kzz very nice change from the more serious reference types pregnancy books. I read each chapter as I came up to them month to see where approx. I always looked forward to getting to the next coke including the size ruler. It explains week by week what changes to expect, as well as providing pages of fun reading about the author’s experiences in diary format.

Companies can’t alter or remove reviews from ProductReview. Sometimes I read ahead because I was so fascinated and I love the chapter beginnings like the ones quoted abovebut I also found that when I read ahead I would get confused over the weeks and forget where I was at that point in time, leading me to think my baby was bigger than it really was, hhe instance.

Hihi, the writing style is so funny and easy to follow! It was a humourous step through pregnancy and the stages of pregnancy month by month.

While it may not bombard you with lots of facts it is enough for you to go and find out more if you want. One is Prostaglandin, a kind of hormone; a synthetic version like a large pill put on the cervix can make it ripen.

These diary accounts must be an accumulation of Cooke’s own experiences, the experiences of others and a general sympathy towards what women go through.
