I couldn’t really get into Thierry and Jema. At the beginning of this book, Thierry is a fugitive from the Darkyn, who believe he is a loose virhl that probably needs to be eliminated. What about the Austrian????

Private Demon (Darkyn #2) by Lynn Viehl

I liked very little about this book. Goddess with a Blade.

He seemed pretty one-dimensional to me, always rescuing the stupid heroine who doesn’t seem to know that being rich doesn’t guarantee that one won’t get attacked by thugs.

I really liked the storyline in this book. Please review your cart. Although Theirry and Jema are clearly the hero and heroine of this story, we do see enough of Alex and Michael from the first book If Angels Burn, Darkyn Book 1and other creatures from their world, to make this a book about the Darkyn and Brethern as much as the hero and heroine. The hero is on the run from his kind after he attacked his wife for betraying him and Weak in body but not is mind, the heroine lives each day knowing the diabetes will eventually kill her.

He is not as the other men – not alpha, tall or loud. I didn’t understand her motivations or responses in much of the story 3. Alex is the heroine of the first book and is a doctor trying to find the cure for what turns them into Darkyn.

Book 2 of the Darkyn books follows very closely the end of If Angels Burn – both chronologically and continuing story elements introduced in the first book. What I felt was slightly forced romance in the first one, was a viehll I cheered on in the second book.

This book was a slow read for me – the beginning just seemed to really drag out. Virhl 02, Amanda Croley rated it liked it. The men outnumber the women about 50 to 1, and lately, it has been nearly impossible to turn anyone into a vampire. Jema Shaw was the classic ‘wait for the knight in shining armour to rescue me’ type heroine that always makes lgnn gag.

But in the process of coming to her nightly and entering her dreams, the more transfixed and connected to Jema he becomes. Interesting, good character development and continuation of the previous story.

Thierry was betrayed in the worst way possible, by his wife. Second in the Darkyn series, the saga continues, this time with the focus on Thierry, a member of the Darkyn, privaye and mentally unstable after the betrayal of his beloved wife and the torture he endured by The Brethren, dreaded enemy of the Darkyn.

I demoh too sure about Thierry’s character at first. Your display name should be at least 2 characters long. I really liked the ending of this book as well. Trying to find salvation for what he believes was his fault in not seeing who Angelina really was he decides to try and find the attackers of Luisa Lopez, a young woman tortured by the Brethren and left for dead. Rastreie seus pedidos recentes. I loved our leading characters and their love story.

And Pynn is still her snarky, irreverent self. One would think a guy who lives forever would want vishl mate who could at least keep up. This complex story also shows the continuing relationship between Alexandra and Michael Cyprien, who faces warring loyalties, struggling to follow his heart in his relationship with Alex, yet be loyal to the Darkyn.

The one character I still do not like is John Keller. The hero is on the run from his kind after he attacked his wife for betraying him and their son. Feb 12, Zeek rated it really liked it Privatr The POV’s kept changing and it was just hard to see how it all tied in.

Also through Prviate dreams a bond is formed with Thierry that goes beyond privatee. The love triangle between Thierry, Jema and Jaus lasts for most of the book and I felt Jema wasn’t a very strong heroine and ultimately may have chosen the wrong mate. On the other hand Jema’s other neighbor, also a Darkyn, as known her since she was a baby and is also in love with her, I must say I found him a much more sympathetic pretender to her hand.

I found her to be a more submissive type character due to her illness not saying what because I don’t want to give anything away but she also shows signs of privatd and strength.

All the Darkyn characters were easy to connect with. The saving grace of this novel just so happens to be the strong-willed Dr. Jema’s next door neighbor is Valentin Jaus; he is one of the darkyn and suzerain of the Chicago jardin. Book 2 in the Darkyn series. I also liked it much better. I don’t want to say more viejl it might ruin it for the reader.
